Circle Ten “Required Training” Pilot
In 2010 Circle 10 Council will pilot a “Required Training” program that will be implemented nationwide in 2011.
Certain positions will be required to complete training before they will be allowed to “recharter” in February or March in that position as follows:
All Committee Chairs — Leader Specific Training
Cubmasters — Leader Specific Training
Scoutmasters — Leader Specific Training & Introduction to Outdoor Learning Skills (IOLS)
Crew Advisors — Leader Specific Training
Varsity Coaches — Leader Specific Training (this session is in LONE STAR DISTRICT)
To avoid any problems with rechartering, make sure you sign up for one of the training sessions soon, or contact the training chair at training@southernskydistrict.org.
