Please check the District Committee Page for the current list of Eagle Board of Review Members for your area.

The following is a check list to help you prepare for your Eagle Board of Review.

  1. All documents should be ORIGINALS. (You do NOT need to make a separate copy of everything for each board member).

  2. That your records reflect that:-

    • Four months have passed after 1st Class.
    • 6 months after Star.
    • At least 4 Eagle Merit Badges prior to Star.
    • At least 3 more eagle badges before Life.

  3. Your eagle application filled out correctly all the way down to your committee chair’s signature (2009 printing).

  4. At least 5 letters of recommendation (6 if employed). You should not have read these. They should be in a sealed envelope or should come to the BoR via another adult.

  5. Your written statement of goals and achievements.

  6. Your eagle project workbook filled out and signed/approved (must be the offical BSA eagle project workbook).

  7. At least 3 but no more than 6 other adults to sit on your board.

  8. Your scout book.

  9. Be dressed in your unit’s official scout uniform.
