It is time to plan for this fall’s recruitment drive. Our main objective is to give every boy in our area an opportunity to join Scouting. We need your help. We are faced with several challenges and want to get input from as many leaders as possible on how we can most effectively reach this goal.

We are holding a membership planning meeting on June 3rd at 6:30 at the Allen LDS Church on Exchange (before Roundtable) to discuss the following:-

• The overall recruitment plan including Joins Scouting Night plan
• Which Packs will recruit from which schools
• How Boy Scout Troops can help with Cub Scout recruitment
• Coordinated Troop open houses for new members
• Alternate plans for schools where we do not have access (Frisco ISD)
• How the District Training and Advancement teams and our Commissioners can assist with Join Scout Night.

We are asking for each unit to send a representative to this meeting to provide input on the membership plan for the coming year.

Please make sure your unit is represented – this is the most important thing that we do every year. It is all about the boys!
