Unite the World through JOTA…

Scouts, come and talk to the world during the weekend of October 18-19, 2008.
Unite the world through friendship.

The JOTA (Jamboree On The Air) is an annual event during which Scouts meet each other through amateur radio contacts. The purpose is to meet each other, exchange ideas, learn from each other and gain a mutual understanding. JOTA contributes to a better understanding and mutual respect between youngsters in different countries. Contacts between the Scouts are made by amateur radio.
This annual event is sponsored by the World Scout Bureau. Thousands of amateur radio stations around the world participate.
