Pinewood Derby Design Contest

At the October Roundtable we gave out several FREE pinewood derby cars for our Pinewood derby design contest. Every year at our Join Scouting Night rallies we bring some really cool looking cars to the schools to show to the kids, it gets them really excited about joining scouting.

To get the cars for upcoming rallies we are holding this contest for those who would like to help out & participate. There will also be a race held at the November Roundtable…so check it out! We are out of FREE cars, but if you would still like to participate, car kits can be purchased at the scout shop.

Cars will not be returned, as they will be used all year long and hopefully long into the future. Cars do not have to be Derby legal for this specific contest…the importance is WOW factor to get the kids excited.

Oh, and yes, there are prizes!

• 1st prize: Fame, Glory, and a copy of “See You At The Top” autographed by Zig Ziglar
• 2nd place prize: Fame, Glory, and a copy of “Spirit of Adventure” autographed by Alvin Townley
• 3rd place prize: Fame & Glory
