Attention All Parade Volunteers:

Just a few more days till the parade. It looks like the weather should be nice. We will need a few Scouts and Volunteers to help set out trash bins before the parade starts, if you can help please arrive at Circle Ten Council by 10:00 a.m. All others can arrive after 10:30 a.m. You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the bus leaves. The Bus Schedule is below.

Bus Schedule

10:30 a.m. first bus leaves C10
11:30 a.m. second bus leaves C10
12:30 p.m. third bus leaves C10
1:30 p.m. 4th & 5th bus leaves C10
2:30 p.m. LAST bus leaves C10

Busses & passenger vans will bring Volunteers and Scouts back to the Circle Ten Council office after the parade.

Check list for Scouts

  1. Complete Uniform (shirt, pants, & dark shoes)
  2. BSA hat or solid color hat.
  3. Gloves
  4. Water bottle

Volunteers & Scouts will get a long sleeve t-shirt to be worn under the uniform shirt once they arrive and check in for the parade. PLEASE EAT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED (unless you help with trash bin set up)

At the end of the parade we need everyone to help with the service project of cleaning up trash at the American Airlines Center. This should not take too long with everyone’s help. The busses will bring everyone back to the Circle Ten Council office. We should be done by 5:30 pm.

NEW UPDATE

Scouts will no longer be needed to set out barricades. Please start arriving at the Circle Ten Council office between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The last bus will leave the Circle Ten Council office at 1:30 p.m. The parade starts at 2:00 p.m. and should be over by 4:30 p.m. Scouts and Volunteers will be bussed back to the Circle Ten Council office to check out.
